Humphrey

Humphrey was a Djinni who, along with 9 others, constructed a stone bridge. He lost at drawing straws, so he was imprisoned within the bridge with the spell of Indefinite Confinement to complete the bridge. Bartimaeus claims they gave him a deck of cards to pass the time with.
