Afrits

Afrits are the second most powerful sub-class of spirits, second only to Marids. Afrits are pure fire elements, and are often studied in volcanoes. They are the favorite slaves of higher level magicians and are often summoned as the vanguards for high level magicians. Afrits have a plethora of spells, as well as much magical power. Afrits are often seen throughout all of the books.
